not coming back
I need to stop hoping
that tomorrow will be the day,
the day that you talk to me,
or show me you still care.
But it's been almost a month
since the last time we talked
and it's so obvious
that you don't care at all
I thought you were different
but it turns out I was wrong.
You're just like the others,
& I wish so badly you weren't.
I miss you so much,
from your smile, to your laugh,
to your drinking, and your Newports
I miss everything about you.
And you couldn't care less.
I need to stop hoping,
I need to give up.
Because we both know
you're not coming back.
