I have been told to
forget you.

Oh, as if it were
so stupidly simple.

I can’t make a movement

or a noise,
or have a
 thought
without you
 appearing.

How do you forget
somebody?
How do you forget
 somebody,
when
your lips are stitched
together with the
letters that spell
out their name?
