Dissolve in the Sky
Poems
Jan 2014
House, Burning
Feel the unbearable lack of me.
I once stood,
Splendid.
Flames lick my edges,
Cleaning any trace
Of a past, future;
Any possibility of memories
Housed in my broken walls.
The sky
Lit with violence.
Suffocated.
A single crack
And I am no longer
Fallen to the flames
Buckled by their desperate hunger,
I am devoured.
