But, I know, As I hammer those nails into your beautiful hands, Your eyes, They try to search for mine.
But, I look away...
Now, Your eyes are the only thing that can save me.
I'm still afraid of them piercing, You're breaking into my prison.
Just pretend that for a while, My soul is dying and I won't look away.
So I think I'll stay, Caught up in silent prayer, Cause I believe in silence.
Our hearts speak the same words.
So why don't we just walk along the shoreline with our silent song?
