the sound of water, tells of waves,
each one thunders,
rolling in not even the wind behaves,
on my bed the pillows
soften the sound, hold my head and quiet the waves,
no longer
do they pound, the round curled ocean fingers,
roll and land,
with weight clawing at the sand covered rocks,
little by little,
taking it all away to leave only the sound of
the water rolling.
