You and I are bound to meet again
Some day, my friend,
Our molecules suspended, isolated and intertwined
Within the ocean,
You and I are infinite and always,
Always reflecting shades of the color blue.

You and I will meet again as waves,
Fall sprawled upon the beach together
And be welcomed back among the clouds and the things we understood.
You and I will be salty now,
Having been the ocean, my friend
But at least we will be raindrops again.
