Not a day goes by
That I don’t think about you,
And I
dream of everything we could be;
Together,
We'll conquer the world
We are the kings.

I want your hand in mine,
They were made for each other.
Two halves of one whole.
Without you just a broken mold.

I want nothing more than
To feel your presence.
And hear the music of your laughter
Such a sweet song I hear.
I’ll run my fingers through your hair and
I want to feel the warmth of your embrace
Just to know you care.

I want to make you see
Our future: a tapestry of dreams
Though I fear it will never be because
You are you,
And I am me.

I'm intoxicated with this idea
And when I wake I'll be hung over
And retching the delusion that
It will ever be more than fantasy.
