she stood in the corner waiting.
eyes fixed to the floor.

she stood in the corner waiting.waiting forever more.

she stood in the window looking out out at the sandy shore.

she stood in  silent  reverie as the parade weny slowly by

she stood on the edge of happiness wearing just a frown.

she stood in the glaring light of time as the sands ran slowly down.

she stood in the shadows as the music played and hope against all hope.

that someday he would come to her and Carry.her away.
