Stay up late just to get up early
I’m not looking too hard to stay
Sometimes I don’t know what I’m doing
And any other time, I’m not awake
Another chapter in my life is waiting
But I can’t seemed to find the escape
I’m staying up late to get up early
I’m not sure how to escape
What is it that life wants from me?
When I can’t seem to catch a break
Staying up late to get up early
The sun is shining, and I want it to shine on me
I’m watching all these people wondering,
When can I be free?
When can I be free?
I’m tired of staying up late to get up early
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon
Tonight, I’ll stay up late to figure things out
So I’ll sleep in ‘til noon
