Dear friend

You were there For fifteen years Looking out for me All the way You cared for me When I was down And my heart Had broken in two We'd sit sipping tea Looking back on our lives And how we used to be But now We're growing up And I'm glad to have you By my side As lovely a friend can be So now let me help you In your dark times of stress Just as you Have cared for me I'll pick you up And tuck you in And make sure You're safe as can be I'll be here for you Whenever you need And we won't let the world Get us down I'll hold you quite close As close as can be As close as friends could be
