Arngrim has Fallen

We broke the silence of the night

To see the gates of Asgard open

Valkyries fill this ****** battlefield

I see your eyes, I felt the pain, you are crying

I wish to hold your hand forever

As I put down my sword, and lay down my armor

I felt the rain on my face; I see the thunders of Thor

I knelt down, my broken soul had surrendered

I wished not to be chosen, wishing to be forever by your side

I know you feel the same, but not even Freyja could hear our plea

Not even Odin can bring you to Asgard with me

I felt my heart stopping, but it still hopes to sing your name

I hold your hand; you’re still wearing my ring

Valhalla waits as you stare at me with grief

Goodbye, we’ve fallen, I never wanted to leave
