Dec 2013
Rain trickles down my side.
Your breath is hot against my skin.
A shiver runs through my bones.
You won’t let me go.
My toes begin to go numb.
You pull me closer to you.
I cry out in the middle of the night.
You thrive off my screams.
In the morning, bruises will bloom.
You will demand your coffee.
Life will go on like normal.
