Dec 2013
Your hand reached for mine, as though it searched for it's home
once you whispered in my ear,
"You're beautiful."
A faint pink glow illuminated from my cheeks and in return,
I planted a gentle kiss upon your tender lips,
which reminded me of the sweet taste rich chocolate tended to contain.

My eyes open and focus
on the bedroom ceiling.
"Oh, just a dream," I then thought
as I began to doze back off into slumber.
Dreams seem to have become
my reality.
