Dec 2013
there will be no miracles here;
no out-of-body experiences
that change your outlook upon life and the universe
nobody will do you any favours
as everybody is too concerned with themselves

there will be no miracles here;
no sudden epiphanies
or realizations that you are worth more than this
no sudden stops when you are crying
that make your tears suddenly halt

there will be no miracles here;
you have to do this all by yourself
find all the missing puzzle pieces
and superglue them together
in fear of them falling apart once more

there will be no miracles here;
you will have to depart on a quest to find yourself
whether it means dying your hair
or letting the person who made you sad realize
that they lost the most precious thing they had

you have to create your own miracles.
