Dec 2013
Neon flickered ghostlike
with honks desperate below,
someone shouted down the hall.
Her cigarette smoldered
rancid smoke,
swirling up into
a fan spinning
lifelessly.

We lied,
naked in rough splendor,
side-by-side,
her leg cracked high
in a v,
my hand rested
on her sweaty thigh,
we giggled breathlessly,
inhaled guilty-pleasures,
our exquisite rumbling
was beautiful,
her and me.

I wanted to crawl
into her
again
&
again
&
again.

And if I could have,
I would've stayed
in that seedy room,
forever
on the
wrong side of this desolate,
unforgiving town.

Fingers crossed...
