Stars Apart

In the night sky

we danced

we played

confessed our love

kissed and embraced

our love once shown bright

is all but a memory

faded by the morning mist

we parted ways

you have the heavens

I crashed to earth

and burned

and burned

and burned

to dust

what we shared

our love

the fun

the dance

you forgot

you forgot...

me...

forever looking into heaven

always to be your fallen star
