The road to stardom

This way it is today

Is it the way it should be

Or was it ever meant to be

This way it is today?

For a period far too long

Like eternity and a month

I never thought it otherwise

I believed they were just dreams

Castles hanging in the skies

The skies which now keep me company

Hey me, is it really me?

Where are you dust life?

We used to kiss every day

Where are you filthy rags?

We used to be close friends

Hey you ***** dusty bins

Don’t you want my handshake no more?

I won’t lie on you again, streets

I’ve got a couple of bedroom suites

Making friends was not easy

Indeed, it was like impossible

But now the coin flipped the other side

Everyone is basking in my success

From glory to glory I still elevate

Hey me, you better tell me now

Is it really, really me?
