All For You

How many days till I close my eyes How many fights till I die trying All for you How much longer will I believe your lies How much longer till I fall apart All for you So many words once spoken true So many days all for you Just never forget that Just one last chance to change the world To make a home for I once lay Beside you Just another night that I lay Dreaming for you every night and day Forgotten promises fade away Only to hold a thought of you Reaching out but seeing what I thought I knew Still so close yet so far away Bring back a time a memory My dream was a happy time to be Me and you Bring together a uniformity Together just in rest in harmony Me and you A distant dream seems real to me Yet every time I wake the gravity Pulls me right back on my feet To look right down and find myself Right back where I started off Pulls me farther from you than I thought possible Just another night that I lay Dreaming for you every night and day Forgotten promises fade away Only to hold a thought of you Reaching out but seeing what I thought I knew Forgotten forever like all the rest
