Dec 2013
You became an ordinary diamond,
Rough through each edge
And a little opaque in your shine.
But even in such misery,
I still craved all of it's remedy.

Oh woe is me

Fooled, bedazzled, stricken

Yet completely unable to take hold.

I've been cut without mercy
No one else can be blamed.
Those scars upon my hands
Are worse than dry croplands.

Amidst such tragic outcomes
There's possibility to build upon.
Now watch a feeble smile descend
From this face you'll no longer reprimand.
When you start to lose feelings for someone. The illusion is completely shattered.
