The Sins I'd Commit

I'd see the world into despair,

And waters fall putrid.

I'd see cities burned bare,

Men's hearts grow frigid.

I'd see fire rain from on high,

And oceans freeze solidly.

I'd see birds unable to fly,

And women drown in agony.

I'd bathe the world in pain,

If it meant knowing her name.
