when i just a kid daddy bought me a teddy bear
every where i went teddy he was there
he was my best friend kept me company
best friend in the world there could ever be
when bed time came around by side would lie
daddy picked up is guitar sang his lullaby
i would sit and listen to his melody
then i would fall asleep with teddy next to me
daddy he passed on to where the angels stay
still sing his song to teddy every day single day
when night time comes around i sing his melody
then fall fast asleep with teddy there with me
