Cocktails of Life - Sweet Freedom

The sweetness

of freedom,

the sharp sting

of regret.

The first taste

of adulthood

we never

quite forget.

A swirl of reckless

laughter,

a trace of

hidden fears.

The cocktail

of our younger days

grows stronger

through the years.

Notes

Freedom, mistakes, laughter, and regret all become part of growing older. This verse captures the unforgettable first taste of adulthood and the emotions that shape our younger years.
