Love

nobody knows what I'm worthy of

I just wanted to feel some love

I dont know what I'm supposed to do

I'm lost plotting my next move

I thought I knew you

but that was a portrait you drew

a facade you illustrated

a life, simulated

you are not who you appeared to be

all your honor is lost to me

along with the love I thought existed

you took back what you gifted

and everybody knows

I'm buried deep under my woes

and I am struggling

you can see my stature crumbling

and you're kicking around the crumbs

I'm afraid of what comes

of what love might find me next

and how it'll leave me vexed

because its not a thing for people like me

love is tragedy
