Sometimes, the highest path
Is stumbling down
A grounded rocky road.
The heavenly way
A simple truth
A harsh reality softly spoken
Its brutality removed
Like an exorcism
A place where things go wrong
But no one to blame
Where life happens
And people respond
The best way they can
The rest is left
Just open
Where acceptance can be the relief
of unnecessary shame.
And things happen
But undeterred keep coming
A place where we all know
that we are big enough to dream
But bigger still for space mystery
And the unknown
Where there is both
Gods will and chance
And bigger still there is room
For humble unfulfilled
Ordinary self
Just living life
A world where I can be both
Unhealed and on the right path
And if she never turns up
God knows
I hope she does
But if not
It might be the
healing
I really need
A space between worlds
Not
Thy will be done
Where every human failure
Is placed at the foot of God
and every good human
deed robbed or taken
Nether is it
My will be done
When I manifest
God must bow
And the world follow
Shaped by the mind
of a tyrant fool
Where success and failure carry no burden
Never embodied or eaten
Where dignity
is the Ultimate goal
And honesty the only path
It recognizes that
life can sometimes break
And yes it matters
cut feet with broken glass
There is no going back
But never pushed or lofty away
with some of the shelf
second hand
Spiritual meaning
As we seek to remove human pain
From our path
But to be human
is the way
As at the same time
We do not disappear
Into black hole or despair
As sometimes the goal
Is not a delusional mend
like broken vases
We step back
And humbly
pick up the pieces
As we make a
Glistening
Colourful
Mosaic
Caught in the
Shining sun
With
God
Smiling
down
But even that
cannot be known
As all we can really do
is just
TURN UP
