constant motion

She thought she stood still in one place,

unchanged by time’s embrace,

yet Earth beneath her kept its pace,

turning through endless space.

Like drifting lands upon the sea,

she moved so quietly,

until she learned that healing, too,

travels where eyes can’t see.
