one

when I die do not bury me,

burn me and let the ashes rest in a vase,

put me where she can always see me,

and when she is gone, burn her, by her wishes,

put her in the same jar as me and let us at least in death become one.

I know I'll be the first to go

whenever I see her, its like a a halo behind had always existed and I had just never noticed it,

my proof of God on earth, choosing me to spend her life with- telling me we would be but one in death as well.

I know I'll be the first to go when I look at myself and all I see if what I could've been,

you brought me this far and you'll take me over the edge,

my love you'll cross over on your own accord without me, and we'll be together then, but till then,

every second spent with you is a second closer to becoming one.

every touch is a reminder that no touch will ever be as intimate as ash mixing together where no one will know when I end and you begin.
