Emergence

I rose from out my slumber Set to attack the world at large To prove I wasn’t just a number And that I was the one in charge I grappled with my confidence Until I felt assured Until I displayed my dominance And my self doubt was all cured I emerged out of my casing Sprite and full of life And although my thoughts were racing I still put away my strife I rose from out the ashes Like a phoenix from the sun I showed signs of bits and flashes And I knew that I had won
