A Lonely Palestinian.

by david-p-carroll

Darkness is all around me and My heart holds a silent tear and The world moves on a hurried stream While I remain a waking dream A lonely Palestinian like me And nobody around the world can see And nobody to hold me tight Or kiss me goodnight and I'm Just fading star in the dark night A whispered name a distant plea I'm just a lonely Palestinian and Nobody can see and The olive trees they stand so tall Witness to every rise and fall And I'm saddened nobody can see me And through the silence I hold My memories tight deep in my heart And no comfort finds my weary soul As justice fails to make me whole and I'm just a lonely Palestinian With nowhere to go.
