She Walks in Darkness Through the Night - Poem and link to song (free)

by VictorDLopez

Hear my new heavy metal version of lyrics from this poem free at https://suno.com/s/SXmfwQlHB4i6TxCo She walks in horror through the night, Werewolves, and demons avert their eyes; Vampires as one rush to take flight Their cries echoing across the skies; Even the moon denies her light Fearing by touching her, it dies. A single glance I do confess, May not kill off the human race That horrors knows, though all be less, Than taking one look at her face; Where evil lives in woman’s dress, And worms are seen though her thin lace. And on her cheek and on her brow, Her skull does peek malevolent, Through lipless smile her teeth do glow, Making her speech ineloquent, And wonder you what lies below? A hole through which her heart was rent. [Do not pity her, I tell you true, For if you do, she’ll come for you]

Tongue in cheek poem to the [made up] sister or the woman about whom Lord Byron wrote one of his most famous poems I echo here out of sheer meanness.
