Driving Home

by @BleedingHearts

Driving far Sometimes fast Other times, slow Making our way Down life's roads Only a few hours past I was in the car On my way home Waiting for the roof To ahead of me loom After days of travel Isn't it such a blessing To come back To a home, a heart That others may lack A privilege We often disregard To the envy and Dismay of those Who have no place to land Who are forever stuck Driving down life's roads.
