How glorious is mankind

How glorious is mankind!

Every day,

whether with microscope or collider,

scalpel or scanning beams,

micro or tele-scope,

eyes and/or fingetips even tentacles,

limbs of wire and sensors

we delve into the overlapping universality

of our mysterious millions of affects,

cells on stars,

new strains of amoebas,

cell peculiarities particular, genomes home-grown,

new galaxies just now uncovered,

forgetting oft,

it’s is the glory of

mankind’s perpetual occupation

to peel, to reveal,

the greater glory of our

cosmic interior decorator

of worlds within worlds within

in an expanding universe,

our ultimate fate dependent

on the battle between grave of gravity

and the black of dark energy

and I only utter:

mmmmmmmmmm

and the work is never finished nml
