books

The safe solace i travel to, to wash my woes away

To hide from reality

To protect myself from the demons that lie within

My way of pretending to be fine

Like i stay alone because i enjoy it,

Not because i dont have a choice

Every time open a book,

Another realm awaits

Each perfectly printed letter yearns to be read

Each individual word leaves a story to entail

Each paragraph begins a new adventure

I lose myself in these delusions

They shelter me from the cold truth

Covering me from the harsh reality of lffe
