I found a bird egg on my walk this evening and I carried the pale porcelain so gently in my open palm supporting it as such a delicate thing for even though it was broken and merely just pieces of itself at this point it was so pretty the missing parts did not distract from the beauty of the blue shell I like to collect and keep such treasures each shattered masterpiece a complete work of art
