Every step forward, every step backward

Am I stuck standing still? These lines could save or kill. Now it feels just like I'm trapped down below Give me a life full of hurt Scratch that line Give me a life full of love I need to pull myself up Becoming someone I don't recognize Look deep into my quiet eyes These lines could save or kill Am I stuck standing still?
