THE FIRST DECADE.

by dadaolowoeyo

My ancestor, because you are now, Offering up prayers of thanksgiving, Many trials but strong, haven't given in, Your said prayers now lift me up whenever low; Many have long forgotten you were, No problem, they're human after all, That your legacy remains, forever tall, To those, for whatever reason, are unaware.

It's ten years, in two days, that my father left this existence to become my ancestor. A lot has changed and still changing. Rest well, Old Soldier.
