I Lied

Winter left without a hushed goodbye,

Left me with frozen heart and scratches of bitter lie.

Taught me how cold numbs my palm.

Winter brings warmth holding me through iced hug. Snowflakes wanna stay like ring,

Was more heavy than a lifeless thing.

Promised to stay,

Now under burning sun where I lay,

Left me with pages of pain. Frozen tears now waits for untimely rain.

In hope of winter's return I confined the small world, forgot to run.

Scratches wanna whisper in dark, Reminder how it left the mark.

Blood drips where love tripped,

Waiting on the very edge, but losing the grip.

Cold tears slipped through cloud,

Memories rushing though veins burning and loud.

Falling through the abyss, Victim who believed love is bliss.

Heard the song of time?

Truth stays well as wine.

closed the window myself, afraid of a love that only comes once like the wind.

Inspired by characters who turned heartbreak into something colder than silence.
