Understanding love

In the middle of

Staring into those beautiful eyes

And hearing that voice

That sounds like a melody

I fell inlove

I never thought

I am one to fall

Because I am always careful

In every step I take

But clearly there is a first time to everything

To be with you

Is to finally understand

Why every poet before me

Has failed to find the right words

You are not a poem

You are the very heartbeat of the language itself
