Melting Eyes In Tears

Each broken soul

waits to fade away

While life

keeps chasing happiness

The wandering heart

longs for love

Yet the flesh

still sinks in distress

Waiting alone for someone

is heartbreaking

No one truly feels

that pain

Everyone only sees

how bright you are

But not the stains

upon your face

Demanding relationships

feel heavy

Like mountains

upon the earth

Emotions ache

in deep silence

Through melting eyes

in tears

Dreams drift

through foggy skies

As colorful

as boundless hopes

Promises slowly die

within lies

Through endless

loneliness
