you, you, you

here I am lying on the bed alone, answering online quizzes like “who’s more likely to remember the first date” or “who said I love you first” and the answer to all of them is you. because it has always been you, even on the day you let me go. you do not need to answer what’s going on with our relationship because your words to me were, “everything is about you, you, you.” which hurts because my answer to the future would always have been together with you.
