Our New Hate

Such a strong word, never lightly used Even if we flip, on such a short fuse There is nobody I could point, with a hateful knife Or possibly one, a good friends ex-wife So what does it take to use this word in measure As most things in life are nicely used And give us our daily pleasure But now we surf on our phones, avoiding the usual tracked clickbait As reverting from crime and war Cookies have become our new kind of hate JJB 🍪
