can write with either hand/or any of each finger IF,
dipped-in-chocolate dark yet iridescent and yet, still milky creamy
write of love and not~love poetry with the expertise of decades
of the equality of knowing the exhilarations of its peaking, and the depth of its inversions in long years-deep craters, unending
long or short, excessive or one worded, but always only for those whose taste buds recognize the savory of the intrigue of umami
sitting up, couch prone bound, high or low, clothed or in
underwear found, but always companioned by a hot coffee mug
and poetry issuing from the inchoate coordinates of his five sensoria
write as if one was a man or woman, a young girl or an elderly man, in sickness and in health, for poorer and even wealth, rich laughing while crying, for the turntable record of his life is closer to lending an ending,
its nearer-my-god-than-thee chapter’s ending
and crying because, just because…tears though costless, are among the things that cost us the most dearly, for we cry at the extreme edges of life’s good fortunes and dastardly, bastardly, misadventures
free versedly until rhyme sneaks in, with a stupor smiling, ever so quietly with an Ah Ha! you old poet, you’ll never be free, fully escape, the rhyming schema of we of me…see!
with words, in Hebrew or Hindi, with words so unusual & unused, archaic and Jurassic, or by being caustic be caused, he be the one who has made them up, when it suited one’s purse and purposes, chopped them apart syllabically, to root out their history and secreted, inner meanings and delighting the mischievous muses residing within
the poet adaptive, undertaking numerous living, gearing and personalities, one writes to take temporary ownership of differing gender, bender, reversing multi~perspectives; one writes in sickness and in health, in poverty, and occasional wealth, and one day one will reveal the list of his many pseudonyms,
une liste merveilleuse de tous les noms de plume….
