DINGHY

Her little boat’s back in the harbor,

Tossed by waves of sin and doubt;

Torn and battered by bad choices

She limped her way over savage seas

Mid daily storms of mind and soul.

Tossed by winds of indecision,

She finally heard the lighthouse bell

And struggled to the nearby shoreline.

Anchored now and safe from harm

She gently floats at dock side

Ready to forsake the ocean

And set a foot on solid ground.
