Suited

by aneesah-lionheart

I lay here Split Seams Openly exposed Stitches unraveling You look me over. Glasses Perched in the tip of your nose. I wait. Carefully, You pull me. Tuck this away. Cut that bulk out. Shaped by precision, Structured with care I don’t recognize it This new shape I’m bound to Outcomes. I chose. You hold me up against the light. I wonder what it is you see When you look at me Are you pleased? My structure Is yours.
