Growth

I'll grow towards light Irregardless how small Day or night Conquer it all Reaching a height I am too big to fall The person I was meant to be Hidden inside all along Waiting for moment to be set free Into place I finally belong Was sure I'd never discover the key Grateful I turned out to be wrong The future looks bright with sun Replacing dark and grey I no longer yearn to run From my misery every day My problems are far from done For once beginning to feel okay
