Dreams come true

O’God, O’God,

How great are thee?

Do you know? Or cannot you see?

His fingerprints on your soul,

His powerful breath made me!

I turn my gaze to Your face,

Away from the negativity that oft consumes my headspace.

I repent for dwelling on my lack,

Rather than rejoicing in your abundant grace.

My life could have turned out vastly different,

Can I rejoice instead of reject? I repent.

Renew my mind, oh God, and turn my wailing,

Into dancing, I want to live the life You’ve dreamt.
