You never left

you are a silence

that answers nothing

yet says everything.

A story that keeps breathing

even when I try to end it,

a ghost that refuses

to become memory.

I walk away,

and somehow

I am still standing in you.

And maybe that’s the cruelest part

not that you left,

but that you never really did.
