Barstool Beatdowns

Settling down to crack a bottle of brown

feul for this dangerous frown

swallow a half-glass of beat-some-ass

look around for a face to pound

knuckle reprisal share two blackened eyeball

undefeated and boastful Id

allowed the ego inside to continue denial

pride vies for the highest bid

Last time we fought I had a rare thought

and an end to the ****** was sought

at an impasse to intoxicated to ask

a question I have already forgot

more powerful by the bottleful

world becoming less colorful

black and blue: red hue contrast

the sinful are hardly the careful

hear this toast I choose to hold close

as the words get stuck in my throat

a ship taking water can still float in the sea

but will rarely survive to the coast
