I shared my poetry tonight, Not all but some, Bits of my lived experience Torn from my heart by biro's Point or keyboards clatter, Poetry which has captured The attention for good And indeed for ill, By a relatively small, I may say or feel an entitled bunch, But reaction is the purpose Of a poem and without it No verse is ever completed, But in this case, This blonde and beautiful Critic there is no experience Or feedback for specific words Beyond a vague wondering Which best would help Her sleep
