In the Chamber of a Round

In the chamber of a round, touch the walls, click a sound

Let feeling, grounded root together, syn in pathos found

We go to a Sympatheia experience the suffering to share,

Stoic in the way love is connecting us, a flowing of a rare

A movement in one place is felt in another long long ago

Nothing you feel is ever entirely yours alone bare a show

A trembling, quiet ache, carries us over a threshold home

Your heart shifts something responds, majestic in a Rome

A hidden thread our lips breathe in exhale together a kiss

Collect those moments on a shelf too scared to hug I miss.

Some of the saddest moments in life have a kind of sympatheia in their rhythm that connects us even if we do not know why and who is to say the real is ever too real to give it another try.
