Weave

I am to die,

But for Now

I'll eat buttered toast and sip new milk

I am to die,

But for Now

I'll breathe sun-blown air and swim lake water

I am to die,

But for Now

I'll sip sugar from Summer's palm and take her proffered bread crust

I am to die,

But for Now

I'll race a boy to the end of the hill and back again

I am to die,

But for Now

I'll kiss

I am to die,

but for Now

I'll Be
